I really enjoyed the comfortable bed in my Standard Double Room. The room was clean. The staff were really lovely, especially during check-in, which went smoothly. Location-wise, being close to the city's dining district was fantastic. There were some downsides. The WiFi cut out a few times, and I found that quite annoying while trying to relax in my room. Noise from passing cars at night disrupted my sleep. It would have been helpful if they offered a lunch box option for early departures since breakfast didn't accommodate my schedule.

I recently stayed at a lovely boutique hotel in Barranco and had a fantastic experience. The staff at the 24/7 reception were incredibly helpful and friendly, with some even speaking English. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating, despite the language barrier. I highly recommend trying their fresh pressed pineapple juice, it was the best we had during our trip in Peru. The hotel is located in a great area with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Plus, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with antiques and has a unique charm. a wonderful stay!
Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of recommendations for local bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette and fridge that came in handy during our stay. the location was fantastic, with easy access to cafes and shops, as well as being close to public transportation.
We did experience issues with noise from the street, particularly during the night. Even with the windows closed, it was still difficult to sleep due to the heavy traffic and construction noises outside.

The rooms at Hostal Gemina were super cozy and made me feel right at home. I loved the comfortable beds and the private bathrooms with showers. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of biking.
The only thing I didn't love was the lack of a bathtub. But hey, some people might prefer a quick shower instead.
